When should I transition my baby out of a swaddle?
Once your baby starts showing signs of rolling over, it's time to start the transition from a swaddle to a sleep sack. The Zen Swaddle® can be wrapped with your baby's arms free, to ease this transition! The Zen Sack™ is a great transition from the swaddle because it provides gentle pressure and additional comfort to your baby during sleep.

How much weight is in each product?
Physiotherapy standards were used to determine the appropriate weight in the Zen Sleepwear. These weight requirements ensure that the weight to body-weight ratio is maintained well below the recommended Physiotherapy standard of 1:10. Depending on the size of the product, the weighted parts range from 1 to 5 ounces.

The material is lightweight; it would be nice if it was a bit more substantive. And it sometimes is pretty loud and even difficult to unwrap baby. It’s nice though that their lower half is below the swaddle, which allows easy access for mid-night diaper changes.

However, the weighted bean aspect of this swaddle seems to make no difference whatsoever in helping my son settle or sleep longer. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant on if it would work or not… you know how it goes with a baby, sometimes things work sometimes they don’t…. I am happy to say My lil boy loves it!!! He’ll be two months on the 18th. we wrapped him in it one night he was being so fussy, and bam! He was chill and stared at the twinkle lights we have In Our room for a solid 30 minutes before he fell asleep on his own. I have to get up early with my other two kids for school, with this swaddle He sleeps for a solid 4 to 5 hours a night with it on. Which helps mama get some solid rest. What I love most is he can easily get out of the swaddle but still be calm. I cannot wait to try the pajamas! Excellent product, I will for-sure be purchasing more.

Our 7-week old had just started sleeping 4hr stretches and once we tried our Nested Bean swaddle he jumped to 6+ hours a night! It's very soft and we like that he can use it with one or both arms out as well as fully swaddled. He is now 2-mos and likes to have an arm or two free and this swaddles seems to comfort him easily.

We went through a numerous amount of swaddles for our infant and finally found the Zen swaddle. It provides a little bit of weight on the chest and sides to make the baby feel hugged and secure. The material is super soft as well. I had an issue with a part of the Velcro and contacted customer service who was very prompt and helpful to help us solve the issue. This is also my husbands favorite swaddle for the baby. I put a drop of lavender on the chest part and the babies off to a better sleep.

I loveeee our zen swaddle! Our girl is getting increasingly more sleep and so is this exhausted mama! It used to take an hour of holding her before she was asleep enough to lay her down, and then she would be up an hour later ready to eat… Now it takes about 20-30 minutes counted after the feed and then straight to bed! She’ll sleep for her 4-5 hours at a time instead of 2! So happy I’ll probably buy a different type for when she’s a bit older/bigger!

I adore this swaddle! It was the magic trick with our first and did the same for our second. Both were sleeping 2-3 hours at a time and immediately switched to 7 hours once they moved to this swaddle. We got this second one because I had lost the first one between babies. I love how soft the material is on this one but it’s way too stretchy. The older fabric was much firmer and easier to use as a swaddle. This would be perfect as a sleepsack, but my little busts out of the swaddle all the time.

I didn't want to be biased and believe the hype so I waited a fair amount to post this review. I know with babies it is a hit or miss which products they will like or not. The nested bean swaddle does exactly what it is suppose to do and my baby loves it. She sleeps so much better from the very first day. We tried the traditional swaddles, which were fine for the first 2 weeks. After that we tried numerous other swaddles with no succes. She kept wiggling(moving all over the bassinet like a worm) making lots of noises. Now she actually sleeps like a baby and gets good stretches of sleep. I wish I learned about it sooner. Thanks Nested bean, I will be buying other products.

I absolutely love this swaddle! My baby was up every 2-3 hrs before this purchase. I have about 2 weeks or so with it and sometimes my boyfriend forgets to put it on her and she won’t fall asleep fully until she’s swaddled. She went from being up every 2-3hrs to up once in the middle of the night and last night she slept through the night. Definitely recommend. I am however a bit concerned with summer time. I live in the valley so our summer nights are 80 degrees or so and I just feel like being swaddled or being in a sleeping bag would be too hot even with purchasing the warmer temp sleeping bag. Wish they had other options for summer time.

My little one is the youngest of 5 and the only one who didn’t sleep! After weeks of being severely sleep deprived, I started to do some research on how I can get my baby to sleep. I came across weighted sleep sacks and read all about Nested Bean. I took the survey to see what sleep sack would be best and the Zen Swaddle was recommended. I purchased this as our 2nd swaddle for when our lil man spits up on the first. We LOVED our nested bean swaddle, but I wasn't a big fan of the fabric of this 2nd swaddle option. It's not as stretchy and I can't seem to secure quite the same fit as I did the original swaddle. I'm guessing this is why it was on sale (because people don't like the fabric?) and was a bit disappointed in the purchase.

We love his swaddle so far. It seems to of helped my 3 week old to sleep longer stretches and we much prefer this swaddle with arms then any other swaddles we used (which was a lot). I personally don’t like the Velcro on this swaddle though. It’s very Noisey and can be difficult to undo during night changes. That’s it’s only flaw though.

After 4 nights with this swaddle, my 2 month old is sleeping consistent 4-5 hour stretches at night! Before, it was 2-3 hours max. All other swaddles we’ve tried (there were many), he fussed when getting it on, but not this one. The material is soft and the weight generally calms him. I like that the material is breathable and soft (even after washing) and the Velcro isn’t loud or too rough- which is key when nursing him at night.

This is an amazing swaddle, compared to the classic one, this bamboo one is much lighter yet warm enough for my baby, and extremely soft and excellent quality. My baby loved this and wore it until about 4 months until he kept fighting the swaddle, I also used the swaddle for a while until my baby transitioned out fully, so I did the wrap around the waist with one arm out, and eventually both but found by month 5 my baby is too tall now for the swaddle and the legs kept coming off but I certainly used tremendous mileague on this, and have many products from Nested bean from the early swaddles, to now the wearable blanket (the sac), and bought some onesies and pj's as well! I love this company! The products are of high quality and not too crazy expensive, if you can grab an event when they run sales!

I am a bit disappointed for the money spent and with the reviews. I love this swaddle! I purchased the sleep sack and this at the same time but my tiny tot is still only 8 weeks old and needs something to keep his arms contained. We purchased a few cheap swaddles prior to our daughter being born. I had my eye on this one if the others did not work out after seeing all of the great reviews. We received this swaddle as a gift shortly after bringing her home and it is her absolute favorite. We have retired the others and only use this one. We got the zen swaddle but quickly learned that our 6 week old does NOT look like to be swaddled. The product itself however, is very nice. The Velcro is sturdy and kept her in even when squirming. The weights on it are a nice light weight and seem like they’d help a lot on a baby that actually enjoyed being swaddled. Overall the product is great quality.

The material is nice but the swaddle part itself is not right. My son can very easily wiggle his way out even though I put it very tight on him. I feel like the Velcro part needs to be longer so it’s on his body more. Over all not a huge fan. Used it for 2 nights and then switched back to the halo sleep sack. The material is super soft and breathable. However, it stretches a lot in one night of wear. My LO wiggles when he sleeps and it makes the material bunch up around his face and he is able to stretch the material enough to get his hands out of the swaddle. I should have opted to get the regular cotton but seeing as we live in FL I figured the lighter material would be better. We have resorted back to using our Halo sleep sack/swaddle since it is thicker material and my LO cannot wiggle or stretch this one out.

Love love love our nested bean swaddle. I have both the original zen and the premium. I actually prefer the original because the material is less stretchy and my little one can’t move her arms around in it as much, but I tend to put her in her premium more often because I appreciate the natural/green ingredients it’s made of.

First of all of love the pattern on this swaddle! It’s so cute! I do love penguins. Secondly, the fabric is soft and lightweight. Thirdly, I like that there’s an option for arms in or out on the swaddle as my son just started rolling over. However, it did not help my baby sleep. He was actually harder to put back to sleep when using this swaddle so we had to stop using it. I was really wanting to love it but it didn’t work for us.

My son is 3 weeks old and we’ve been using the zen swaddle since he was 5 days old, he sleeps great and falls asleep on his own nightly, after bath and a massage with some nighttime lotion we put him into his swaddle and feed him then once he lays down he’s asleep within 5 minutes. He sleeps for 4-5 sometimes 6 hours at a time! We LOVE our nested bean!

The material is lightweight; it would be nice if it was a bit more substantive. And it sometimes is pretty loud and even difficult to unwrap baby. It’s nice though that their lower half is below the swaddle, which allows easy access for mid-night diaper changes.

I like this swaddle and appreciate that my son will be able to grow into it. The “soft” Velcro is a big plus. However, the weighted bean aspect of this swaddle seems to make no difference whatsoever in helping my son settle or sleep longer. I like the product but would not re-purchase or give as a baby shower gift.

To be honest, I was a bit hesitant on if it would work or not… you know how it goes with a baby, sometimes things work sometimes they don’t…. I am happy to say My lil boy loves it!!! He’ll be two months on the 18th. we wrapped him in it one night he was being so fussy, and bam! He was chill and stared at the twinkle lights we have In Our room for a solid 30 minutes before he fell asleep on his own. I have to get up early with my other two kids for school, with this swaddle He sleeps for a solid 4 to 5 hours a night with it on. Which helps mama get some solid rest. What I love most is he can easily get out of the swaddle but still be calm. I cannot wait to try the pajamas! Excellent product, I will for-sure be purchasing more.

Our 7-week old had just started sleeping 4hr stretches and once we tried our Nested Bean swaddle he jumped to 6+ hours a night! It's very soft and we like that he can use it with one or both arms out as well as fully swaddled. He is now 2-mos and likes to have an arm or two free and this swaddles seems to comfort him easily.

We went through a numerous amount of swaddles for our infant and finally found the Zen swaddle. It provides a little bit of weight on the chest and sides to make the baby feel hugged and secure. The material is super soft as well. I had an issue with a part of the Velcro and contacted customer service who was very prompt and helpful to help us solve the issue. This is also my husbands favorite swaddle for the baby. I put a drop of lavender on the chest part and the babies off to a better sleep.

I loveeee our zen swaddle! Our girl is getting increasingly more sleep and so is this exhausted mama! It used to take an hour of holding her before she was asleep enough to lay her down, and then she would be up an hour later ready to eat… Now it takes about 20-30 minutes counted after the feed and then straight to bed! She’ll sleep for her 4-5 hours at a time instead of 2! So happy I’ll probably buy a different type for when she’s a bit older/bigger!

I adore this swaddle! It was the magic trick with our first and did the same for our second. Both were sleeping 2-3 hours at a time and immediately switched to 7 hours once they moved to this swaddle. We got this second one because I had lost the first one between babies. I love how soft the material is on this one but it’s way too stretchy. The older fabric was much firmer and easier to use as a swaddle. This would be perfect as a sleepsack, but my little busts out of the swaddle all the time.

I love how soft this sleep sack is.... that being said my little one can wiggle her arms out of the bottom of the Velcro part leading to her waking easily. This product hasn’t made laying her down in bed any easier or helped her sleep better than just a normal sleep sack.

I didn't want to be biased and believe the hype so I waited a fair amount to post this review. I know with babies it is a hit or miss which products they will like or not. The nested bean swaddle does exactly what it is suppose to do and my baby loves it. She sleeps so much better from the very first day. We tried the traditional swaddles, which were fine for the first 2 weeks. After that we tried numerous other swaddles with no succes. She kept wiggling(moving all over the bassinet like a worm) making lots of noises. Now she actually sleeps like a baby and gets good stretches of sleep. I wish I learned about it sooner. Thanks Nested bean, I will be buying other products.

I absolutely love this swaddle! My baby was up every 2-3 hrs before this purchase. I have about 2 weeks or so with it and sometimes my boyfriend forgets to put it on her and she won’t fall asleep fully until she’s swaddled. She went from being up every 2-3hrs to up once in the middle of the night and last night she slept through the night. Definitely recommend. I am however a bit concerned with summer time. I live in the valley so our summer nights are 80 degrees or so and I just feel like being swaddled or being in a sleeping bag would be too hot even with purchasing the warmer temp sleeping bag. Wish they had other options for summer time.

My little one is the youngest of 5 and the only one who didn’t sleep! After weeks of being severely sleep deprived, I started to do some research on how I can get my baby to sleep. I came across weighted sleep sacks and read all about Nested Bean. I took the survey to see what sleep sack would be best and the Zen Swaddle was recommended. The first night my baby slept 5 hours all by herself! This picture is from the second night she wore the Zen Swaddle and she slept another 5 hours. We are going on 2 weeks and she sleeps 5-6 hours every night. It feels so good to sleep and I will be ordering more!

I purchased this as our 2nd swaddle for when our lil man spits up on the first. We LOVED our nested bean swaddle, but I wasn't a big fan of the fabric of this 2nd swaddle option. It's not as stretchy and I can't seem to secure quite the same fit as I did the original swaddle. I'm guessing this is why it was on sale (because people don't like the fabric?) and was a bit disappointed in the purchase.

My granddaughter used these two years ago and they where her parents sleep salvation as well as hers. Now with my grandson they went directly to the nested bean swaddle and he is almost sleeping through the night at 6 weeks . I love these they are such an amazing swaddle. We love his swaddle so far. It seems to of helped my 3 week old to sleep longer stretches and we much prefer this swaddle with arms then any other swaddles we used (which was a lot). I personally don’t like the Velcro on this swaddle though. It’s very Noisey and can be difficult to undo during night changes. That’s it’s only flaw though.

After 4 nights with this swaddle, my 2 month old is sleeping consistent 4-5 hour stretches at night! Before, it was 2-3 hours max. All other swaddles we’ve tried (there were many), he fussed when getting it on, but not this one. The material is soft and the weight generally calms him. I like that the material is breathable and soft (even after washing) and the Velcro isn’t loud or too rough- which is key when nursing him at night.

This is an amazing swaddle, compared to the classic one, this bamboo one is much lighter yet warm enough for my baby, and extremely soft and excellent quality. My baby loved this and wore it until about 4 months until he kept fighting the swaddle, I also used the swaddle for a while until my baby transitioned out fully, so I did the wrap around the waist with one arm out, and eventually both but found by month 5 my baby is too tall now for the swaddle and the legs kept coming off but I certainly used tremendous mileague on this, and have many products from Nested bean from the early swaddles, to now the wearable blanket (the sac), and bought some onesies and pj's as well! I love this company! The products are of high quality and not too crazy expensive, if you can grab an event when they run sales!

Not too sure. I put my 10 week old in it and fasten it as snug as I can but she still manages to wiggle out of it. I have not been using it and using another swaddle that contains hers arms better. I am a bit disappointed for the money spent and with the reviews. I am willing to try it again but it makes me nervous because she wiggles it up to and around her face, so I certainly will not use it during the night and only for naps.

I love this swaddle! I purchased the sleep sack and this at the same time but my tiny tot is still only 8 weeks old and needs something to keep his arms contained. I wish I had this swaddle from day 1, as he is now sleeping 4 hour stretches through the night, and he is overall much less restless. I love the premier because the bamboo is so light and soft. We purchased a few cheap swaddles prior to our daughter being born. I had my eye on this one if the others did not work out after seeing all of the great reviews. We received this swaddle as a gift shortly after bringing her home and it is her absolute favorite. We have retired the others and only use this one. We got the zen swaddle but quickly learned that our 6 week old does NOT look like to be swaddled. The product itself however, is very nice. The Velcro is sturdy and kept her in even when squirming. The weights on it are a nice light weight and seem like they’d help a lot on a baby that actually enjoyed being swaddled. Overall the product is great quality.

The first night our 12-week-old twins wore these, they went from 2-3hrs of sleep to a full 6 hours! Since then, the sleep duration has varied from about 4-6hrs at a stretch. Thank goodness!

The material is nice but the swaddle part itself is not right. My son can very easily wiggle his way out even though I put it very tight on him. I feel like the Velcro part needs to be longer so it’s on his body more. Over all not a huge fan. Used it for 2 nights and then switched back to the halo sleep sack. Was really hoping to love it more.

The material is super soft and breathable. However, it stretches a lot in one night of wear. My LO wiggles when he sleeps and it makes the material bunch up around his face and he is able to stretch the material enough to get his hands out of the swaddle. I should have opted to get the regular cotton but seeing as we live in FL I figured the lighter material would be better. We have resorted back to using our Halo sleep sack/swaddle since it is thicker material and my LO cannot wiggle or stretch this one out.

Love love love our nested bean swaddle. I have both the original zen and the premium. I actually prefer the original because the material is less stretchy and my little one can’t move her arms around in it as much, but I tend to put her in her premium more often because I appreciate the natural/green ingredients it’s made of.

First of all of love the pattern on this swaddle! It’s so cute! I do love penguins. Secondly, the fabric is soft and lightweight. Thirdly, I like that there’s an option for arms in or out on the swaddle as my son just started rolling over. However, it did not help my baby sleep. He was actually harder to put back to sleep when using this swaddle so we had to stop using it. I was really wanting to love it but it didn’t work for us.
