The winter sleep sack is truly like a sleeping bag. I was expecting more of a micro-fleece material. The material is nice but not what i expected. These sleep sacks are difficult for me to get on my incredibly active son. I don’t feel like the weighted option has made much of a difference in his sleeping habits either, unfortunately. I’m not sure I would spend as much money again, I would likely opt for a less pricey brand. I wish these would have worked for us. I would have bought stock if they improved our sleep!

My son’s room always gets a bit colder than the rest of the house, and this blanket is the perfect weight. I rest a bit easier knowing he’s cozy and warm. He also sleeps really well in his nested bean sack. When I transitioned him out of the swaddle into this we only had about one night of fussing before he got used to it. Now, he loves having his arms free so he can stretch them out in all directions!

At first we were unsure if it was actually working but it was cold and I was glad baby had a safe way to keep warm anyway. Fast forward a couple weeks and it was laundry night and baby didn’t have a clean sleep sack to sleep in. We put her down without any sack and she woke up every 30-45 minutes. We finally realized it was likely due to her missing her sack! Once dry we put it on her during one of her wakings and she was out for the night!

My 5 week old baby is a Goliath and as much as I like the sleep sack, I mistakenly bought the 0-6 month zen sack assuming it would be appropriate. It will fit him for a pretty short period of time considering how the arm holes currently fit. He did sleep better the first night, had a rough night the second night and is doing pretty well thereafter. I may purchase more in the next size. Please advertise to check weights and length of infant as I assumed up to 6 months would fit a 5 week old longer than this will.

My daughter has been using the 0.5 TOG Zen Sleep Sack since she was 4 months old and we’ve loved it. Now that we’re in Winter (Coastal California) we realized the 0.5 was not cutting it at night. When this Winter one came it was so thick I was worried it would get her too hot at night. To my surprise it keeps her nice and warm, but not over heated. This is perfect for winter. My baby transitioned to the crib and his room gets a little chilly at night. I can rest well knowing that this sleep blanket will not only keep him warm but give him comfort due to the weighted chest. He has been safely using it to sleep for a month. I'm not sure how he would sleep without it but I'm not willing to try it out. It has survived several washes already and the quality is great. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

I had high hopes for this sleep sack, and was hoping it would solve all our sleep problems but, alas, it has not. It’s well made and warm (our bedroom where our son sleeps is a little chilly, so I do love this sleep sack for that reason), but I don’t think the weighted aspect does anything to make him sleep sooner or longer. He still cries every time we put him in it (like he did the others) so, at least in our experience, the beads don’t magically make him calm down or anything. He also isn’t sleeping longer or shorter in it — just about the same as the other sleep sacks. Like I said, it’s well made and warm but if you’re looking for a magic elixir, this isn’t it… at least it wasn’t for us.

I loved this when it arrived, soft and warm. However, I followed the washing instructions, I even washed on the hand wash cycle , and air dried in the dryer. It still got mis-shaped and seemed to have shrunk a tad. It also had a small hole by the seam, not sure if it was there beforehand. My 3 month old will only be able to wear this 3-5 more times, wish I had gotten the larger size.

Listen...I was skeptical but let me tell you, this works! The first night my 6 month old son used this, he slept from 8:30 p.m. to 4:46 a.m. My husband and I were shocked! Although he hasn't slept this long since, we have been getting 5 to 6 hour stretches in the last week or so since we have been using this...so now he only wakes once at night for a feeding. I will be ordering more. Trust me, just try it. Nothing to lose, but a wealth of sleep and comfort to gain for you and baby.

Love this thing! I won't make any miracle claims about all my babies sleep problems being solved, but I will say I have been sleeping a lot better knowing my baby is nice and warm without being tangled in blankets from rolling around in his crib.
My baby like to roll from his back to tummy and "gets stuck" and will start to cry. I have been placing him on his back (per usual) in his new sleep sack and while he still rolls from side to side, he is definitely less inclined to make full rolls during bed time. He just tends to hang out on his back until he falls now. I love it so far.

Our little guy was doing consistent 11-12 hour sleeps through the night until one day he just...wasn't. We thought we had made it through the 4 month sleep regression because this didn't kick up until right at 4.5-5 months. After weeks of adjusting wake windows, trying to improve naps for better night sleep, doing larger feedings, etc we wondered if he could be cold and also having a hard time getting himself back to sleep after jerking awake several times.
The first night with the Nested Bean winter (TOG 2.5) Sack, we saw an improvement of about an hour of total night sleep. We haven't unfortunately seen consistent improvement in night sleep duration but what we have seen is a reduction in the amount of times he's fully waking up (and then crying) between sleep cycles throughout the night. Which is a help! I wish it had helped his overall duration of night sleep but I'll take less crying any day!

My only regret is not getting this sooner. My five month old would not nap anywhere but in my arms and at night would wake up every 45 minutes to an hour wanting held, after a week in the sleep sack she sleeps ~4hrs at a time at night waking only to eat, and is napping in her bassinet like a pro.

My daughter had been wearing the Merlin sleep suit but now is able to roll so I researched different sleep suits that would help her for the best transition. I heard transitioning baby out of the Merlin sleep suit would be a nightmare, on top of us beginning sleep training, but in 2 days my daughter can now fall asleep BY HERSELF!! The quality of the sack is wonderful, and it’s beautiful and warm. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped my baby sleep better. I used them for my first baby and put the weighted egg on her back as she was a tummy sleeper and she slept great but my second baby hasn’t learned to roll over yet. Maybe once she can roll and sleepy on her tummy, I’ll switch the weight and it’ll help her.

It’s well made and warm (our bedroom where our son sleeps is a little chilly, so I do love this sleep sack for that reason), but I don’t think the weighted aspect does anything to make him sleep sooner or longer. He still cries every time we put him in it (like he did the others) so, at least in our experience, the beads don’t magically make him calm down or anything. He also isn’t sleeping longer or shorter in it — just about the same as the other sleep sacks. Like I said, it’s well made and warm but if you’re looking for a magic elixir, this isn’t it… at least it wasn’t for us.

I loved this when it arrived, soft and warm. However, I followed the washing instructions, I even washed on the hand wash cycle , and air dried in the dryer. It still got mis-shaped and seemed to have shrunk a tad. It also had a small hole by the seam, not sure if it was there beforehand. My 3 month old will only be able to wear this 3-5 more times, wish I had gotten the larger size.

Listen...I was skeptical but let me tell you, this works! The first night my 6 month old son used this, he slept from 8:30 p.m. to 4:46 a.m. My husband and I were shocked! Although he hasn't slept this long since, we have been getting 5 to 6 hour stretches in the last week or so since we have been using this...so now he only wakes once at night for a feeding. I will be ordering more. Trust me, just try it. Nothing to lose, but a wealth of sleep and comfort to gain for you and baby.

Love this thing! I won't make any miracle claims about all my babies sleep problems being solved, but I will say I have been sleeping a lot better knowing my baby is nice and warm without being tangled in blankets from rolling around in his crib.
My baby like to roll from his back to tummy and "gets stuck" and will start to cry. I have been placing him on his back (per usual) in his new sleep sack and while he still rolls from side to side, he is definitely less inclined to make full rolls during bed time. Our little guy was doing consistent 11-12 hour sleeps through the night until one day he just...wasn't. We thought we had made it through the 4 month sleep regression because this didn't kick up until right at 4.5-5 months. After weeks of adjusting wake windows, trying to improve naps for better night sleep, doing larger feedings, etc we wondered if he could be cold and also having a hard time getting himself back to sleep after jerking awake several times.
The first night with the Nested Bean winter (TOG 2.5) Sack, we saw an improvement of about an hour of total night sleep. We haven't unfortunately seen consistent improvement in night sleep duration but what we have seen is a reduction in the amount of times he's fully waking up (and then crying) between sleep cycles throughout the night. Which is a help! I wish it had helped his overall duration of night sleep but I'll take less crying any day!

My only regret is not getting this sooner. My five month old would not nap anywhere but in my arms and at night would wake up every 45 minutes to an hour wanting held, after a week in the sleep sack she sleeps ~4hrs at a time at night waking only to eat, and is napping in her bassinet like a pro.

My daughter had been wearing the Merlin sleep suit but now is able to roll so I researched different sleep suits that would help her for the best transition. The quality of the sack is wonderful, and it’s beautiful and warm. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped my baby sleep better. I used them for my first baby and put the weighted egg on her back as she was a tummy sleeper and she slept great but my second baby hasn’t learned to roll over yet. Maybe once she can roll and sleepy on her tummy, I’ll switch the weight and it’ll help her.
